Day 1 & 2
Introduction and Basic Principles

Day 3 & 4
Surgical Techniques & Hands-On Training
Learn surgical protocols and refine your skills through intensive hands-on workshops.
Engage in detailed step-by-step procedures for implant placement. Participate in practical workshops covering suture techniques, implant placement, and guided bone regeneration on pig jaws. Present and discuss case studies to prepare for real-world implant placements, enhancing your surgical proficiency and confidence.
Day 5 & 6
Advanced Surgical Techniques
Navigate complex surgical scenarios with advanced techniques and technology.
Tackle challenging cases, including sinus lifts and bone grafting. Gain insights into the "All on 4" technique using the Neodent implant system on models. Experience guided surgeries utilising 3D imaging and computer-guided technology. Practical planning sessions with coDiagnostix and plastic models will further hone your skills.
Day 7 & 8
Prosthetic Considerations
Perfect your prosthetic skills with both conventional and digital techniques.
Learn the intricacies of taking impressions on models, both conventionally and digitally. Watch live demonstrations of implant restorations being installed. Engage in hands-on training with temporary implant restorations. Case presentations will provide a platform to plan for future implant placements, ensuring comprehensive prosthetic knowledge.
Day 9 & 10
Soft Tissue Management & Aesthetics. Building a Successful Practice.
Master techniques to ensure the aesthetic and functional success of implants.
Learn strategies to launch and grow a successful dental implant practice.
Develop your skills in managing and enhancing peri-implant soft tissues. Participate in hands-on workshops focusing on soft tissue grafting and aesthetic techniques using pig jaws. Meet your instructors
Amit Patel
Voted inside the top 50 most influential dentists in the UK 2018. Amit is recognised throughout the country as a leading dental specialist when it comes to periodontics and dental implants. He is professional, respected and caring.
Amit is registered with the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Periodontics. Alongside his private practice, he also works as Associate Specialist in Periodontics and Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham Dental School. His special interests are dental implants, regenerative and aesthetic periodontics.
Amit graduated in Dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 1997. Following a training post in Restorative Dentistry at the Liverpool Dental School he gained significant experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery through 3 prestigious hospital posts. He obtained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2000.
Amit subsequently undertook a 4 year training program in Periodontics and Implantology at Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas’ Dental Institute, achieving Masters in Periodontology and Clinical Dentistry.
This training involved acquisition of the most up-to-date techniques in Periodontics and Implantology under the supervision of Professor Richard Palmer who was appointed the first Professor of Implant Dentistry in the United Kingdom. Amit then obtained his Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and became a registered Specialist in Periodontics. He works with several different implant systems including Biohorizons and Astra Dental Implant systems. He is also experienced in advanced surgical techniques for the treatment of Periodontal (gum) disease including sinus lift surgery, bone augmentation, the use of growth factor for bone regeneration and cosmetic root coverage surgery.
Amit is dedicated to providing specialist dentistry at the highest level and to training other dental professionals and has been voted inside the top 50 most influential dentists in the UK.
Amit is an ambassador for Clean Implant Foundation, the global project for a scientific based view on the implant market aiming for a better, cleaner and safer implantology.
Zubair Sacranie
Dr Zubair Sacranie is a highly qualified and experienced dentist that has been treating patients in Solihull for over 20 years. Zubair has an interest in Dental Implantology and restorative dentistry. He has completed his Masters Degree in Dental Implantology in 2009 from the University of Sheffield and he also holds a certificate in Implant dentistry from the University of Warwick.
Zubair has studied with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, having obtained the MFDS RCS qualification. Most recently he has been admitted as a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry, one of the most prestigious awards for a general dentist in the United Kingdom.
Training and Education is also his passion and he has held teaching posts at Birmingham Dental School and is still working alongside Consultants at Solihull Hospital in the department of Orthodontics.
